ICS Blog Hop Fall For All

Wednesday, October 7, 2015

Yeah, it's the first Wednesday of the month and you know what that means right....Inspire, Create and Share blog hop time!  Our theme for this month is Fall for All and while fall isn't my favorite season I do enjoy the colors.  It also means I am inside more stamping and creating!  I can't wait to see what my talented hopping friends come up to share with us this month!

Last Saturday was World Card Making day and this year I held 2 events that showcased that drop dead gorgeous Into The Wood Designer Series paper.  Man I love this paper, can't seem to get enough of it.  You'll see it a few more times this month and next in upcoming projects! Here I used 2 leftover pieces on my card and on the outside of the envelope:

A few years ago I learned that she who dies with the most DSP leftover isn't the winner so I started using my DSP rather then saving it...and I do mean using it....as in every scrap!  On this project I lined the envelope bottom (as shown above) and the inside of the card!

Don't you just love that cute little acorn punch, I have to admit initially I wasn't going to purchase that punch...but now I am in love with the cute little dude (shhhh....don't tell Jess or Bob!).

Card Recipe:
Stamp Set:  For All Things
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Early Espresso, Into The Wood DSP
Ink:  Early Espresso
Misc:  Brick Embossing Folder, Acorn Builder Punch, Washi Label Punch

Enjoy the hop next your off to what my creative diva friend Jen has to share!
