I am just so excited about the Stamp Out Breast Cancer event this Friday! Grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine depending on when your reading this...heck I am not judging just get a beverage cause this is a long post!
So looking forward to seeing many of you this Friday at 10:00am at the bakery or at 6:30pm in my studio! It's going to be a great event for a great cause! I can't wait to see what we raise for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Also I am very grateful for all the help I've had getting this event to happen. We are blessed that the Orting Bakery owner Lisa is donating her meeting room for the am session. If your attending please throw her a little support by purchasing a coffee or a treat or taking home some of there delish breads or rolls. YUM YUM! Need a birthday card I can tell you she makes the best and is very reasonable!
Here are some sneak peaks for the event:
This is a card that everyone will create and it will be donated to a women going through Breast Cancer Treatment...we'll use some within the group and any remaining will go to multicare regional cancer center. If you are currently a chemo angel or you have a friend or family member in treatment please let me know at the event so I can make sure you get one of these beautiful cards to mail or give them. I want to thank my friend Diane for setting up a contact at multi care for the remainder of cards.
Here is the beautiful raffle basket my good pal and neighbor Terri made for us, I donated all of the products (approx $100 value) in the basket but Terri puts that beautiful final touches and adds some of her own cute creations to the basket. The basket itself was donated by another good stampin' pal Bonnie. Raffle tickets will be $1 each or 6/$5 or 12/$10. All proceeds from the basket go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The drawing will be done at the evening session so please be sure to put your name on your tickets! Raffle tickets are only available to event participants.
Here is the u-tube for the October My Paper Pumpkin that we'll be creating at the event. I'll have some alternate ideas as well as some ideas of what to use your leftovers on display at the event! I LOVE this stamp set...it's very pretty! If your receiving this post via email click on the Flying Stamper to watch the u-tube! If your attending the event don't forget to bring you pink box of fun to the event along with scissors and a glue stick or a snail.
Last item to share is the door prizes! You'll see a lot of pink at the event.
These adorable bra boxes were created by my friend Diane and they contain a fun stampin' up! product! Since I've held your attention this long, leave me a comment by thu 10/29 what item you think is inside the box....I'll do a random drawing at the FRI am event. You do NOT need to be attending the event to participate. I'll mail the "pink" surprise to the winner.
I want to thank my downline and good friend Lynn for all her help with the displays, door prize decorations and kit creation. They say it takes a village and I am very blessed that I've got a wonderfully talented and giving village! I'll post more after the event on our total donations and some special things others have done to help with the event!
Have a wonderful week and I will see some of you this Friday! If you missed this event don't forget there is a fun Tin of Cards class next month...see Sunday's post about that!

So Diane what do you think is inside the pink box?
Rhonda Hill pink sequin trim!
I think there is Christmas Washi Tape and the Christmas buttons.
Deb, my S-I-L called me last night with some really heart breaking news, she was 6 months away from her 5 year anniversary from breast cancer, when the Dr. told her yesterday that she now has bone cancer in her arm. I would appreciate if one of the cards you guys are making could be given to me to send to her? She is a Christian and has turned it over to God. ~Deb2
