Valentines for Soliders Card Drive Reminder!!!

Monday, December 27, 2010

Christmas preparations are over! YEAH! I had a wonderfully blessed one this year...hope you did too! Just a reminder that the due date for the Valentines Soliders Cards is fast approaching. To date I've received 12 cards...which is wonderful but we still need about 28 more! So please if possible play along!

Here are the details of the Card Drive again:

We will be making Valentine cards for 2 small troops from
the Washington Army National Guard Fort Lewis/McCord Base! Kinda cool to do something for our local guys huh? My good friend Diane's husband is currently deployed in Iraq. These are local troops, 8 guys in the C23 unit and 12 guys in the C12 unit...total of 20 men! They are A-Co 641 Aviation. My goal is that we have 40 cards total to send over this will give each solider 2 cards to mail back home to his family/spouse/girlfriend. If each of us does 2 cards and I get 20 participants it will be easy peasy. I will need to have the cards mailed or delivered to me by January 9, 2011 so that I can mail them out the next day. Please include an envelope with your card. If I reach the goal I will do a drawing of all the participants and give away an adorable VALENTINES stamp set.
