My MDS Christmas Card

Tuesday, September 25, 2012

Many of you know that I am working hard this year to avoid Christmas Card Stress by working on my cards way early!  So a few days ago I decided that I would make a family photo card with MDS.....I really want to use the program more then I have been.  I love it for scrapbooking but I really haven't done much with cards or other projects yet!  Just ordered 1 card to be sure I like it "live" as much as I like it on my computer!  Would you believe that the card took less then 5 minutes to complete?  I used a pre-made template and just added my photos and changed the colors around a bit!  So what do you think????

Adornments Gumball Green Dalias Idea

Thursday, September 20, 2012

This is another card we'll be creating at the upcoming Meet the In Colors Classes tomorrow or Saturday!  The tree was created using the Perfect Pennants Bigz Die!  I used a small square punch to create the trunk and then ran it through the new Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  I got the idea while I Stampin' Up! convention earlier this summer!  What a fun project!  If your schedule permits I have 1 opening in the Friday 6pm session, class is $21 and you get your own package of dahlia's you will create 6 great projects.  You can see another one right HERE.
