I want to share a little story with you about the month of May, this is the month that I actually started stamping about 22 years ago. You see my hair dresser invited me to a Stampin' Up! party and I went to support her. I had no intentions of starting a new hobby. The thing is though the week prior to her party I had to go to Hallmark and purchased about 10 birthday cards.....May is a huge birthday month in our family! I think we spent about $50 on cards back then $50 was quite a hit to our budget. When I attended the Stampin' Up! party a week after that a light went off when I realized I could make really great cards for a fraction of the cost! And that was the beginning for me!
My friend Char always says the first card costs about $1,000.00 and then after that they get real cheap! LOL! It's kinda true when you think about it we do end up "needing" or is it "wanting" a lot. But the beauty of this is that I know when I have a card need I have everything I need for all situations and I don't have to leave my home to find something to mail out either!
