Fun With The Petal Cone Die!

Tuesday, July 26, 2011

I made this adorable card for an upcoming grandchild's birthday. It would also make a great invitation for a ice cream social! I used the Petal Cone die to creat the card. The white "inside" piece I only cut a portion of the die and then trimmed it by hand so it would slid inside the card. The word window punch made a good little "tab" to pull the inside in/out. I've said it before never throw out your glimmer red cardstock scraps away.....here is another sample of using up a bit of scrap for the top of the card....looks like a marshino cherry! I am thinking I need some ice cream after writing this post! Good thing I am on a layover and there is NONE available easily! Supplies:

Stamp Set: Birthday

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Rose Red, Whisper White, Real Red Glimmer Paper

Ink: Rose Red

Accessories: Petal Cone Die, Sticky Strip, 1/2 inch Circle Punch, Word Window Punch
Pin It!
