Several years ago a friend of mine had cancer and was going through chemo and found out about this great volunteer program called Chemo Angels...she told me about it and I did share it but it's been some years ago and I wanted to share it again. Also I rejoined it a few weeks ago. This is the card I am mailing this week to my chemo pal! I mail her a card or a post card from a layover each week until she finishes treatment. Since I love making pretty cards this is a great way for me to have a reason to be making them.
The stamps I used on the card are retired, Strength and Hope. I have suggested to Stampin' Up! that they do a special breast cancer stamp set in October. If you feel the same way I do please feel free to share your comments with them, you can do that here: http://www.stampinup.com/home/en-US/contact-us
If you would like to know more about this great rewarding feel good program check it out right here: http://chemoangels.wix.com/chemo-angels-1/

Deb, that is not only a great card but a wonderful program. Having gone through chemo with breast cancer twice myself I know how much a simple card can mean. I am going to check it out and join too! Thanks for sharing!
