Happy World Cardmaking Day!

Yeah it's world card making day and I get the pleasure of stampin' with 8 of my buddies today...and I got to see many yesterday as well!  World Card Making Day reminds us that the best gifts come from the heart, and the hands and vision of the people we love,  So if you weren't able to attend today's event make a few cards of your own today!

Here is one of the cards we'll be making today, one of the things I want to focus on this Stampin' Year is techniques.  We are doing two at the World Card Making Day.  Thiis one is called crayon resist!  You take a white crayon and color in a little here and there on the image...then you sponge or daub color in.  Then you wipe it with a kleenex...everywhere you colored the ink will lift off and you end up with pretty white highlights!
