Welcome to the ICS blog hop this month our theme is Colors of Courage, our goal is to inspire those wanting to send cards or projects to friends/family in cancer treatment. Sadly this seems to be a card I am creating more and more lately. In fact, just last night I learned a neighbor just got diagnosed so I'll be making her a pretty card and some homemade muffins for her and her family this week-end.
Also if your not aware there is a great card support group called Chemo Angels, I have been participating in this group as a card angel for many years now. Read more about them HERE.
Now on to my project, one of my flying friends/downline has a friend entering hospice with Pancreatic Cancer so I made her a "pack" of cards to send to the friend. I don't know her but I always feel compelled when I hear about stuff to try and help out. Here are the cards, I used the Acetate Card Boxes from the holiday catalog to package them in.
I used the Ribbon of Courage Stamp Set and my colors are eggplant envy and very vanilla.
This stamp set was inspired by Million Sales Achiever, Patty Bennett, she lost her Mom to breast cancer. This is a great stamp set that you could use for other things too, weddings, valentines day, get well, sympathy, ect.
Thanks for hanging with me I know this post was long, the subject is important and one that is dear to my heart. I have had a few family members battle it as well as a dear friend. Now hop on over to Candy's blog and see what beautiful project she has to share.
Have a wonderfully inky day,
Deb AKA The Flying Stamper
