Lovely As A Tree

Today's project showcases the oldest stamp set I have in my Studio Lovely As A Tree...it's a wooden set in the old plastic box and looks odd on my shelf these days but I love it and it's such a versatile stamp set, think Christmas, Fall, Sympathy and Guy Card.  It can be used really for almost all occasions.

This card is a sneak peak and one we'll be making in my Mission Embossible class later this month!  The trick here is that we'll be using the brayer and then stamping directly on the folder to get birch trees to pop and the fir trees to appear behind them. 

My color choice is whisper white, shaded spruce and smokey slate.   The embossing folder is the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
