So for today I decided to show you the birthday card I made for my Mom who turns 84 today! Many of you saw this card in person at Customer Appreciation last month. It's stunning in person!
The inspiration for this card came from my pal Janey Backer, she made a similar card using the Lovely Lattice stamp set and copper embossing powder-it was so lovely and inspired me to drag out my embossing tools! I also flipped the image trying to make it look more like a trellis or a basket and the flowers trailing down it. My card is embossed with silver and I used the silver foil sheets to really make it a wow card. The sentiment and the little butterfly are from the Butterfly Duo punch. This card is so lovely I think we'll be making it at the upcoming Birthday Bash card class later this month!
It's my Mom's 84th birthday this year I am very blessed to still be able to take her to lunch and celebrate! Just hope I have her energy and attitude when I am 84!
Here's a video showcasing the Lovely Lattice stamp set which is one of the items you can get for FREE during Sale-A-Brations, this is actually my favorite stamp set from the offerings this year...it's so pretty and the image fills a card nicely so you really don't need to do much more!
