I choose to showcase the Painted Poppies Stamp set one of my favorites from the Mini Catalog! My first card is very basic and simple great for someone just getting started with limited supplies or maybe limited on time. I took the notecards stamp up sells and my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad and simply inked up the poppies and stamped them across the card front.
Next I stepped it up a bit by adding a lovely lipstick card base and a basic black strip and colored the poppies in with my lovely lipstick marker.
Lastly I flipped the card and added a whisper white base, a strip of the Lilly Impressions DSP, heart punch pack and the dog punch. This card was one we actually created in the All Occasions class, I got the inspiration for this one from two places we lost our cat Bob just before the hollidays and I received a ton of pet sympathy cards that was pretty special so I knew I wanted to do something like this in class. I believe I saw something similar on pinterest so it's not an original idea but I just loved it and am really happy with how it turned out. I let the class choose the cat or dog punch or take one of each and just attach it when they knew where the card was going.
I can't wait to see what the rest of the team has come up with for this theme so please continue on to Elizabeth's blog and see what she has created! Thanks so much for stopping by please come back and visit again soon!
