Stampin' Up! Crosses of Hope & Vine EF Card

Sunday, April 7, 2013

It's been kind of a rough wkend.....those of you that know our stampin' friend Elena...well she went to be with God and Al (her husband that passed last April) in Heaven on Saturday afternoon.  For those interested the service will be on Tuesday 4/9 at 10:00am at the Calvary Church in Sumner.  If you need more information please contact me.  I will be proud to be there with many of you!  Here is a sympathy card I made for Elena's children.

Elena loved loved loved the Crosses of Hope stamp set.  Now she wasn't that fond of the vine embossing folder....BUT a few weeks ago she won it at as door prize at the Ronald McDonald class....which she wasn't that impressed with....BUT I told her....Elena I know your gonna want it trust me on this it's a great folder!  So she took her door prize home....sadly I bet she never got to play with it.  However I know she would have loved it eventually so I choose to use it in this card in memory of her.

Elena just loved Stampin Up. God put her in our lives for a reason, and for me, I know it was to be a better "giving, sharing and loving person". Hope I can do the same as Elena.
